    SEPARAR UN CAMPO COMPUESTO

ESTE SCRIPT ME AYUDO PARA SEPARAR UN CAMPO (NOMBRE) EN DOS, PUES EL REQUERIMIENTO ERA UN REPORTE CON EL PRIMER NOMBRE Y SEGUNDO NOMBRE, PERO EN LA BASE DE DATOS ESTABA EL CAMPO UNIDO:

    EJEMPLO:

    CAMPO :       NOMBRE
    REGISTRO:    CARLOS ANDRES

    ESTE ES EL SCRIPT:

    SUBSTR(emp_nombre, 1, DECODE(INSTR(emp_nombre, ' ', 1, 1), 0, 30, (INSTR(emp_nombre, ' ', 1, 1)-1))) PRINOM,

    SUBSTR

    (emp_nombre, DECODE(INSTR(emp_nombre, ' ', 1, 1), 0, 30, (INSTR(emp_nombre, ' ', 1, 1)+1)), 30) SEGNOM,

    EL RESULTADO QUEDARIA ASI:

     PRINOM     SEGNOM

     CARLOS     ANDRES

SI HAY ALGUNA DUDA PREGUNTEN, POR QUE EL QUE NO LLORA NO ...

    ASI QUE LLOREN.
